Sebastian Steudtner (GER) set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the largest wave surfed (unlimited) – male. As part of the Red Bull Big Wave Awards, the WSL has verified Sebastian Steudtner’s 2021 Big Wave Award-winning ride as 86 feet (26.21 meters), which was caught at Praia do Norte in Nazaré, Portugal on October 29, 2020.

For those who think this isn’t real his name is Sebastian Steudtner. The wave was actually 86ft or about 21ish meters. It happened back in 2020 on oct 20th

Full disclosure: I have never surfed in my life and probably never will.
After watching this I felt incredibly small but very proud to be a human. That was one of the most amazing, incredibly brave( arguably stupid), recklessly awesome thing I have ever seen. Bravo sir, but for those who love and know you; don't ever do that again. You have nothing to prove anyone.

People don't understand how hard this is, let alone with his physical deformity and handicap. Fair play. A perfectly normal, proportionate individual probably couldn't have done it any better, yet this man, with his enormous balls which make it hard enough to stand, let alone surf, managed just fine.
