With 3 – 4 foot of E/SE swell and a howling SW/S wind Carties was one of the few options to find a clean wave on the coast, word was out and a heap of crew lined the point. Platforms was teasing punters with the possibility of a few barrels but dreams were quickly shattered as 99% were unmake able, hope you enjoy this short clip of sunny coast scramblers having a crack anyway 🤙

In the 80's Gary Elkington use to rip this break, he would on big days floater over the close out into the next break to the rock wall.
And before the rock wall was put there you could surf all the way to the spit beach.
And yes the waves are really as shit as they look.
Carties is mad but I’m too scared of the rocks
Lived in Buddina for 15 years and surfed Carties all the time but barely ever enjoyed it haha. Kook fuckin central. Great clips though mate. Subbed.
