I know ocean water is salty and the salt water would help with surfing, because you float easier in salt water. Does it make it harder to surf on fresh water? Or the same? I have boogie boarded in the ocean, but have never stood up on a surf board. Just curious. 😊 And this video is awesome! My sister lived on Oahu for about 2 years, and i wish i would have visited her during pipe!❤

I just got back from Hawaii. It was so neat to see this place in person, unfortunately the river was low that day. The water was beautiful though and I will never forget this magical place.

Man, that created intense white water. Water mixed with air lowers the density makes you fall. Life jackets would have been helpful. Fresh water and ocean coming together to try to both kill you.
