The Big Waves season in Nazare – Portugal, is between October and March. So that is the best time to see the Nazare big waves. Sebastien Steutner caught a huge monster and paid the price, but did he set a new world record?
Big wave season is open and professional surfers took advantage of gigantic waves as high as multistory buildings off the coast of Portugal on Thursday, October 31, 2020.
Hurricane Epsilon created a massive North Atlantic swell which made for some of the biggest waves recorded in the coastal Portuguese town of Nazare, a world-famous big wave spot. Sebastien Steutner might have broken a new world record.

calculated using his body of 173 cm as a size measurment, I don't get 100 feet. Sorry. It's closer to 85-90 feet, but that's still a big wave.

The Surf Judge from the 'ESA-NCFL (that is me ) calls it an incomplete Ride or 0 points out of 10 and otherwise known as a "Wipeout" or a Firehose Lunch .
