It's no longer safe in Waikiki. I remember when you could walk through Waikiki at anytime day or night without any concerns for you safety. Those days are long gone. Just like in the mainland there is so much crime and gun violence now. The entire USA will have to become a police state 24/7!
I knew you for years that in the after hours, Waikiki would be kind of hostile so you got to be very cautious of your surroundings, especially late night cause a lot of sketchy people coming out

We used to hangout in Waikiki as a kid back in the 70s-80s. I would not recommend this to anyone at any age today.

It's all by design … Our State Lawmakers passed a bill for bail reform to release criminals back out to our community to prey on us but because of public outcry the Governor let it die … So lawmakers slow roll any efforts to expand prison capacity by improvements or expansion … so due to planned "overcrowding" … the State is forced to release prisoners back out to our community anyway to continue to prey on Hawaii voters, I mean citizens!!! It's all in the plan!!! So we feel unsafe in our own community that WE pay taxes for!!! The Lawmakers still got what they wanted in the end … prisoners set free without bail … 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
