Just imagine the local brudd'ahs, & the Ha'oles from the '40s – '50s looking out at Pe'ahi , " Jaws," on days like this, & thinking , no, this spot will never be ridden, not on a large swell anyway. Then imagine somehow going back in time with, of course, your smartphone, then pulling up videos like this one?! Aside from their utter amazement of the phone itself, they might watch it with lotta stoke, & say, first, how did they summon up the courage to paddle out in the first place, then, how did they create enough paddling speed to catch the waves, have the skill to make it to their feet, to the bottom of the wave, to the pocket, then cruise for a while, pullout , & paddle back over to the takeoff spot?!?! But, the most interesting part would be , when they looked at their buddies & asked, " even if we somehow make it out, takeoff, & make some waves, I don't see how Any one of us could ever survive a wipeout, just no way in Hell brah!!!
