Mate… Apparently they are looking at blowing up KI to make SA the surfing mecca of the world… If this fails… there are limited breaks south of gulls… a few on a big swell, but no regular magnets that work.

When you put it that way then yeah I could agree with you, but there is no "secret spot" per se, which goes off…if it where a killer wave in the metro then it would be no secret. I guess lots of people don't surf your "secret spot" because most of the better surfers I know go south or yorkes and more groms do the midcoast…anyways, good luck with your spot.
there are no secrets on the mid coast mate
its a pitty evry1 haunts the mid and crowds it when its good , its too tame a group of surfspots to cater for so many.
