Just a short video mainly for our memories of a recent day ride to Byron Bay NSW from the Gold Coast Qld with my son.
As a young bloke I spent a lot of time here diving and surfing so it’s great to return and show my young fella around. I love this place and it just doesn’t get any better than sharing the experience with my son.
A friend and fellow rider was killed on his motorcycle yesterday giving me a reminder that we need to get out there amongst it and live life while we can! Work less and play more I say. Cheers, Dan

My 15 year old and I freedive the Southport seaway when the weather lines up. Need good visibility…no rain..no northerlys… early morning hightide… only find it perfect once or twice a year but it's farkin mint! when it turns on… that looked like a good spot..the tassie. Can't wait until my young fella starts riding with me… my oldman just hung up his helmet for the last time 2 weeks back..sold the bike… I bloody shed a tear.
