Very fun downwind run with the growing downwind crew in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Wind kicked from 18-20 to 25 + knots SW, so the bumps stacked up and got much bigger.

This run was from Davies Bay, Mount Eliza to Gould street, Seaford, then Billy and Perry doing a much longer run from Mornington pier to Keast Park, Seaford.

Tom Saunders (me) – Sunova Aviator Prone/SUP downwind 7’6″ x 17″ x 108 L (I’m 90kg). Code foils 1300 S, med fuse, 150 tai. 75cm mast, shimmed 0.5mm. Could’ve easily stepped down to a 980 S or 860 R.

Billy Plumb – Code foils board ( Ben Tardrew ) 7’6″ x 18″ x 100 L – Code foils 860 R, med fuse, 150 tail, 75cm mast, then second run 980 S, 142 tail, 75 cm mast

Alistair McKay – Code board ( Ben Tardrew ) 8’0′ x 20″ x 120 L – AXis 1401 and pro mast

Perry McLeish – Duotone 7’2′ and Uni 170 progression

Nick – Duotone 7’7″ and Could 1150.

Andrew and Marty (wingedit), in the photo, with Chris meeting us at the end. Unfortunately out injured.

I was having an epic and dry run, up until I said, “this the easiest and best run I’ve had” as I got up easy at the start, but won’t be saying that again..haha.

Very fun day, with a bunch mates enjoying the journey and getting better.
