I have felt for the past 20 years that we are living a time similar to the ancient Aztecs and other pagan cultures. With our child sacrifices, worship of the earth and sexual deviancy.

Psychedelics definitely have their pros and cons just like anything else but this very much seems like some reefer madness or a salem witch trial. Some interesting historical references in here, and would serve as a jumping off point for research. There is so much ideology and colonizer bs in here that I laughed at various points, bc it’s the same kind of superiority and false premises and bad framing that actually fuels 100s of years of genocide by Christians, and is the reason why we seem locked into a apocalyptic tragectory, with anyone questioning it painted as shallow at best, evil at worst.

That always makes little sense to me, the daily sacrifice of 1000's. How is that possible with primitive people, to busy surviving to amass the numbers? And if they were smart enough to math out pyramids, what was smart about the sacrifices? History as it's told just feels like bull.

Every beast, bird, and creepy thing has the breath of life. The implication is that at all living creatures received the breath of life. Including the creates of the sea and the birds. Arguably even the plants. All living creations have the breath of life. The breath of life is what makes a creation alive.

I have one criticism of this episode. "The only thing that has been given the breath of life is man" actually isn't biblical. The scriptures are clear in the Torah that animals are also given the same breath of life. Man is special as he is the image bearer of God to the rest of creation.
It's maybe not as easily seen in the English but it's crystal clear in the hebrew.

Fun fact, I failed DARE and am the almost the only person my age I know never tried any illegal drugs.
This is where i think christians are too influenced by politics. Dmt is actually given to us in microdoses as we sleep. It comes out of the paneal glad. Psychedelics when used properly and for the right purposes are unbelievably beneficial and specifically mushrooms are natural antidepressants, belp with addiction, suicidal ideology, and even goes against atheism. Whats been done is weve simply banned the drugs without any education which causes people to take things and not know how to go about things properly. For medical purposes and even faith purposes ive first had experianced and witnessed these meds bring people (including me who was in the darkest place in my life where I had run as far from God as I could) and help people (including me) with addiction. I also found microdosing mushrooms to be a better alternative to pharmas man made medicine. You get the benefits of not feeling like youre living in parell while still maintaining a personality and the ability to make clearer decisions.
God created these medications to help us but just like drinking, sex, etc they arent inherently sinful its what you do with them like making them an idol or abusing them thats when sin comes in. If people are really here saying dmt and Psychedelics are sinful then youre calling God a sinner and saying He made a mistake which is straight up blasphemy. Using these medications for selfish purposes or even recreational can be very dangeous and thats where you find issues. When you do these meds with the purpose of getting closer to God or helping your mental/physical health then theres actually insane God given benefits. The issue with the church just damning things because people abuse things has been a long sad tradition that has resulted in more hurt than help and sadly makes the church seem uneducated and unreliable for things that could actually bring benefit. Mushrooms, dmt, cannabis have all been around since before the fall. Everything has purpose and God doesnt make mistakes.
For those who wanna just say that mental health is a result of not enough prayer i urge you to read the bible and watch your tongue. Chemical imbalances happen not because of God but because we live in a fallen world, God knows that and made sure to give us everything we need. Now we need to stop damning His help, Jesus is the ultimate pharmacist.
One question that is inescapable for me as a Christian is why did God create these substance in the first place? They exist on every continent.
