If you ask me, I feel some water and I feel like spinning reels are way better.

Bait casters are for BUTT masters… Spinner gang about that fish life, been playin in the pond since i was a fry… On gang gang

Real Benefit of bait caster is size ImO. Then you’ll have a lot Of workaround and weight limitation just to be able to cast the line.

Something you missed is spinning reels twist your line like crazy,baitcasters dont. I upgrade my baitcaster with $30 ceramic bearings on the spool and can cast tiny lure far away eliminate the need of a spinning

Once you learn baitcasters they are a lot easier to manipulate and it makes the fishing experience a lot better! But for offshore and deep sea I use the spinning reels

My vengeance combo can yeet pretty small lures no problem, even the smallest spinners

There crap

They are completely unnatural and worthless to me. I prefer managing the pulling action of a spinning rod with a natural balance that pulls the outfit naturally into the correct position to wind the reel. I never enjoyed holding the reel while cranking to fight againstthe awkward balance of the weight on top of the rod constantly working against you trying to flip upside down. Can’t really do that while holding the rod even with the trigger grip. Essentially end up having to hold the reel making it a two handed operation just to manipulate the reel. End up with a lot less control of the rod with a very unbalanced, unnatural feel. Cranking the baitcaster and tugging on the reel with both hands. Despite any advantages, they bait caster, has, all the advantages of a spinning outfit far outweigh its cons. Not the case with bait casting equipment, lots of cons with not enough advantages…

So adding a weight can help the lighter baits or no

The only con is that bait casters are worse at casting bait.

I disagree with the lighter lure line. Sure some cheap baitcasters have trouble throwing ultra light stuff. But modern quality baitcasters can throw finesse type baits w/o issue. And with a baitcasters comes incredible accuracy.
