A child I dreamt of competing in the most prestigious event in Surfing, the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational.
It was an honor to be apart of the an epic day in surfing history and ride big wave for Eddie Aikau. This video documents my experience of the incredible day.

It's so exciting and fun to watch you guys riding those monster waves. Kai, you are such a likeable and talented surfer and a pleasure to watch. The jumps and flips and spins you throw-in add to the excitement.
Have you ever seen one of the jet skis go right over the top of one of those giant curls when they were out towing people into the wave? Maybe one of the guys drove one over a big wave or tried to ride a big wave with one? I bet it was incredible to see and I bet they get pounded sometimes.
