I think surfing and the current "ME" culture do not jive. Surf rage has always been a thing, but it has gotten worse and will get a lot worse as the population increases and as the "ME" culture, started by the baby boomers, and perfected by each subsequent generation gets worse. Civility is dying. Snowboarding/skiing is very similar nowadays. Not good for society.
