Mark Mathews filming Taj Burrow. Same wave together was a pretty epic moment, Mark was deep asf.
Like I say Australians and anyone else that surfs a wave like that are crazy, and what gets me is how can you concentrate on the surf when quit possibly there might be one of those big scary submarines with the white bellies swimming underneath you, takes massive guts to say the least.
That last wave breaking on a 1m high dry shelf 😮

Some memorable ones would have to include Damien martins massive closeout wipeout. The Hughes roll in is even more significant after watching that at the Draw premiere and the reaction it got. Hardys one arguably best paddle wave considering it hadn’t been done previously and he picked a huge wedge

young bloke here. first time seeing this wave and i am utterly speechless. hats off to you guys
hard to charge judge, to me they are all top notch. but the paddle in to hair adjustment really did it for me. that was splitting hairs scratching into the pocket. id like to get out there on a swell i could paddle in too
This video was so insane so awesome I absolutely loved it I am a stand-up Surfer back in the day we used to call bodyboarders spongers not anymore these guys are charging so hard much respect to these guys what a great video thank you can't wait for the next one!
