On the start of the Great Ocean Road this gem is easily missed. Stunning views and secluded surf beaches make this the best location for escaping those large crowds associated with the surrounding Torquay and surf coast regions. Many local surfers and conservation groups strongly campaigned for the inclusion of Bells Beach within the highly protected Point Addis Marine National Park.
Take a short stroll along the Koori Cultural Walk to stumble across a plateau in the cliffs face allowing you to take in some breath-taking views overlooking the bay and its rugged coastline.
It is a 15-minute drive from Torquay and a 2km easy return hike.
