We don't need more immigrants to come gentrify our neighborhoods, rent our houses, force true locals to live out, treat us like service and refusing to speak Spanish and adapt and then say: oh! It has changed, it's not like it used to be, now it's too expensive!! No gracias.
You may want to up your story page accuracy by including Mexico as part of the North America continent, which it is.
PV is so Americanized. It has no feel of Mexico at all. Us gringos have driven the prices up so high and ruined it just like we did in Costa Rica!
I acquired my permanent residency via the Seattle Consulate and finished the process in Puerto Vallarta.
Great sell Risa, however, Solvency requirements are ridiculously high, especially for Canadians. $112,000 for temporary, 392k for permanent, .use have in last 12 months!
For most its nit reachable anymore.
My Bank thinks I'm nuts.. I think they may right.
I started my residency process, but, I may need to cancel.
Did you mention transportation or airport s?
Good start Risa, however for a more authentic Mexico, skip Quintana Roo. It’s too commercialized. A few great alternatives are Huatulco and Puerto Escondido.
Just my two cents!
