I ride form Torquay east, along dirt roads and tracks through forest, along cliff tracks above rivers making my way to Dargo in the Victorian High Country.
if you would like to download the blue track I was roughly following, go to this website www.transaustraliatrail.com.au , click the “find tracks” tab, search under in Victoria, Type = mainly dirt, Level = easy to moderate, click search, then look for Dargo to Melbourne. Click on the left to download the GPX file.

hi Joe- best wishes and many safe miles my good man and thanks for early start of your excellent videos.Been meaning to check with you-you using a cellphone for maps- is that surviving all the vibrations and couple of water crossings. Story here is always cellphones get destroyed with vibrations. If you can share please and what holder you use. Cheers Sean
Another brilliant episode ,I must really go down to Victoria and check out some back road rides.
Good stuff Joe,nice to see you go through my backyard/playground.Bunyip State Forest has some great tracks and that ride from Gembrook to Neerim is very scenic and fun.
Seriously I was expecting a big terrible lizard to jump on ya or at least a giant marsupial of some description
Hi Joe, great video. Loved that camp site. Amazing trails and scenery 👍🇦🇺
Good show Joe, continued safe travels
Thanks!
Your content is always a joy to watch.
It is wonderful to watch your videos. You keep it simple and great photography. Love it,
As an experimented rider, would you mind telling me if the Himalayan can bear two people and also the stuff, if yes, what speed can you run with as Max?
Another great video Joe, I noticed a stop you were forced to make with the breathalyzer, is that common or what, anyways aside from that just an incredible trek you were on, after years of seeing pictures than later in life when YouTube came along just makes me yearn to visit that much more, but until then will just keep following my friend. Take care and hang in there. Rob U.S.
Absolut Fantastic Video!!!!!
That blue track link you spoke (8;05) of would be found….?
Another hidden gem of a road unveiled….. Well done mate. cheers
Plot twist. All these kilometres are so he can deliver one time pads to deep cover operation persons.
Really enjoying your adventures and reviews of the Himalayan.
I’ve picked up one this week, 2018 model with less then 1000kms. Been riding since I was 3 and really enjoying the simplicity this bike offers.
Looking forward to exploring the back roads of qld and maybe a cape york trip next year.
Oh you're in my backyard here! Emerald / Gembrook is a regular weekend getaway.
Love your style of editing Joe… it suits your videos.
Nice vid as always, thanks for sharing your adventures.
Love these adventures and they inspire and help me plan for my round Oz ride later this year. Keep it going.
Hello Joe, you went through a heat wave and we are in the midst of a blizzard. I can't wait to ride in the deep snow. Sorry you had heat exhaustion, its not nice! Some of those dirt roads seem like they would be great on horse back. The ferns…oh the ferns…incredible views and your stills are gorgeous. Thank you for the smiles you generate in me. Mount up, ride on and take care Joe. Love your work!
Good to see back on track mate after the 48deg heat
Lovely country in the Victorian high country with some lovely dirt roads and amazing views
Looking forward to the blue rag trip next episode
It’s on my bucket list
Keep up the great work love your still photos at the end of the episodes
Thanks
Dave
Choice as bro.
I'm an enduro guy but God damn do I love this 🤙
What tire this time? I've still got about half of my CEAT left after close to 6,000 miles, but I don’t want to push it. Choices in Mexico are a bit limited, but I'm hoping to get a Dunlop Trailmax Mission.
Great video and photos by an expert at the end. Love watching your adventures Joe. I would like to know at some point what your average daily cost is and what camera/s you use.
Ah, looks refreshingly cool compared to the North Coast stint! Beautiful forest down that way 😎👍
Another great video!
Another great video Joe, you have to watch out for the wallabies & kangas crossing that's for sure, my son hit one some time back and he definitely came out the loser …. looking forward to the next … cheers mate …🦘🦘🦘
