I ride form Torquay east, along dirt roads and tracks through forest, along cliff tracks above rivers making my way to Dargo in the Victorian High Country.
if you would like to download the blue track I was roughly following, go to this website www.transaustraliatrail.com.au , click the “find tracks” tab, search under in Victoria, Type = mainly dirt, Level = easy to moderate, click search, then look for Dargo to Melbourne. Click on the left to download the GPX file.

hi Joe- best wishes and many safe miles my good man and thanks for early start of your excellent videos.Been meaning to check with you-you using a cellphone for maps- is that surviving all the vibrations and couple of water crossings. Another great video Joe, I noticed a stop you were forced to make with the breathalyzer, is that common or what, anyways aside from that just an incredible trek you were on, after years of seeing pictures than later in life when YouTube came along just makes me yearn to visit that much more, but until then will just keep following my friend. I’ve picked up one this week, 2018 model with less then 1000kms. Been riding since I was 3 and really enjoying the simplicity this bike offers.
Looking forward to exploring the back roads of qld and maybe a cape york trip next year.

Hello Joe, you went through a heat wave and we are in the midst of a blizzard. I can't wait to ride in the deep snow. Sorry you had heat exhaustion, its not nice! What tire this time? I've still got about half of my CEAT left after close to 6,000 miles, but I don’t want to push it. Choices in Mexico are a bit limited, but I'm hoping to get a Dunlop Trailmax Mission.
