Nice video!
How do you compare this route with the Great Western Highway?
We'll be driving to Bathurst then south to Victoria, so can only choose one of the two routes.
14:24 Trucks on Bells Line of Road?! 😱 How is such a thing even allowed?
Nice video, you have captured it in perfect weather
Wonderful! You’ve captured a not so common event, nice sunny weather in the Blue Mountains. Drove this exact route yesterday from Bell to Lithgow and it was rain and fog till I got into Lithgow. At 29:17 on the right is the excellent Cafe 128, highly recommended!
Growing up in nearby Penrith, in the 60s and 70s, I have been on the Bells Line of Road countless times, but still love it. World class scenery! Now living in the UK, these videos always make me homesick. You always pair them with great music, too. Thank you.
Thanks for the upload. Bells Line is very scenic.
My only complaint is the video is hard to watch at 1x, and pixelated at slower speeds. It'd be great if you could upload a realtime version.
I love Bells Line Of Rd, took a trip on it a couple of months ago and stopped at bilpin to pick up some cider, then had the time of my life flying through the bends, of course not exceeding the posted speed limit but the suggested one may have been ignored haha.
21:49 There is also Woy Woy Rd.
Cool driving! Enjoyed Watching:) Thanks mate!
Great drive! In your opinion, do you think Japanese expressways are better than motorways/freeway/expressway in Australia?
long way from home
Despite having driven from Lithgow to western Sydney a few times, I still haven't done this route. Its on the bucket list. Great production as always👍
An interesting fact about that Richmond RAAF base my grandfather taught people how to fly Military planes during the Second world war at that Richmond RAAF base
Makes me want to drive bells line again!
Love that trip. Have driven it lots in both directions. Great production, thanks.
As always, excellent! I've travelled most of the roads you've covered during my working days. Brings back wonderful memories. The Bells is a great drivers' road, although more restricted now with increased traffic, but nonetheless there's been little change to the road alignment in over fifty years. All as I remember. Thanks so much for the great drives!…
I would love to take my Trans Am and drive these roads. I would take off my T-tops, put on some 80s tunes and enjoy… ❤
always a beauty 😀
I drove this road for the first time about 4 weeks ago – I've been along the GWH quite a few times. It was great but I caught an overcast day so some of the views weren't the best. Thanks for putting up a video of a drive on a sunny day.
