Thanks for making the ward stories happen. By far one of the most entertaining surf films ever made! If there were 1000 copies of the dvd originally made, I can confirm today there are only 999 as my copy got torched in the #tubbsfire. It's a shame I can't find a replacement copy to buy, but grateful that it's been posted to watch on the web again.

There's one snippet I couldn't find in the new upload.. where another filmer is recounting the time when wardo paddled from the box across the bay to go surf his heat.

I wish i filmed when Wardo came to Jacksonville way back in….idk 2002-3?,
He stayed at my house and i gave him my brothers room for 3 days and the waves were hurricane swell pumping and he didn’t want to go to surf shops and do his promos for his “Own Movie Where’s Wardo”.
looking back i feel like Chris may have planned out a lot more of his chaos than We thought he was capable of , or maybe NOT.. But to no show your “Where’s wardo” movie @3 different shops but they all saw him surfing during the day at the pier so he wasn’t being a total wastoid. lol
Thank God Damien Hobgood was here also in town & still rode for RUSTY , he signed the Autographs and said wardo was sick,
but i tried hard to drive him so the local shops wouldn’t be pissed at me,
but my gf had a hot friend and if you know then you know, if wardo has a hot chic and waves, he’s not leaving that zone!!!
but sooonmuch stuff happen as i took him out like “show & tell “ to parties and bars. i still have this huge 6ft x4 standup barrel poster he signed and gave me free passage to Trestles and his house and chronic , which was the only poster he signed those 3 days..and i didn’t notice he signed it til he was gone..such a legend.

WSL is currently a joke. I don’t blame anyone for jumping from a sinking ship.
The whole system needs a complete shake up, from terrible judging to extremely poor tour stops the last few years have been a complete circus.
