We started with a stop at the famous Surfing Bells Beach, great views, but damn them surfers must do it hard carrying their surf boards up them stairs (obviously much fitter than us)
We checked out Point Addis lookout before stopping at Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie & Ice-Cream for lunch which was lovely & well priced. Now we have always been Cadbury chocolate only fans But OMG this chocolate might even go around Cadbury, we spent well over $100 just on the chocolate to be sure on that statement 🤣 Don’t miss this one, it has a huge car park catering for caravans & buses, plenty of seating, quick & tasty meals & desserts (3 layered chocolate mousse 🤤) friendly, helpful staff with a smile. There is a big viewing room to watch the chocolates being made. Outdoor dining, playground & animal feeding for the kids, also dog friendly.
We tried getting a park with the Caravan near Split Point Lighthouse but there was nothing available, so onto the the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, there is parking both just before & after the arch but the best photo op is to be ready with your phone as you pass through the arch (your passenger of course) video and screen shot your best position, don’t forget to clean the salt film off your windscreen first 👍
