In 2020, Australia experienced its deadliest year for shark attacks in nearly a century, with eight fatalities and twelve injuries. This video dives into the terrifying and gruesome stories of survival, as well as the tragic losses, from the shark attacks that shocked the nation. From the harrowing tale of Gary Johnson’s fatal encounter with a great white shark to the close call of Will Schroer, who survived an attack while surfing, the video explores the increasing frequency and aggression of shark attacks. Experts suggest that climate change, shark behavioral shifts, and more people in the water are contributing to the rising danger. With advancements in technology, such as drone surveillance and new shark deterrents, Australians are finding ways to stay safer in the ocean. But despite these efforts, the ocean’s most fearsome predators continue to rule the waters.

Minute the guy threw in global warming scam, I knew video was not gonna be watched.
Lol @ climate change
Too many frigging ads to enjoy
Why are we still surprised that when we dive, spear fish, occupy the oceans that we very occasionally interact with sharks. Not all interactions are positive and there are numerous reasons for this. I don’t think this should be a surprise and there is nothing to be done about it. It’s perfectly normal and to be expected. My condolences to anyone who has lost family as a result of this.
Always in Australia
Question.. How can you survive a FATAL shark attack?
Australia , 1999. Sharks were made a protected species. Of course their numbers have exploded over the past 25 years. It has absolutely nothing to do with 'climate'. The climate has always changed since the planets existence, and NOT because if humans. Stop dropping political propaganda BS into your programs.
The demonisation of any animal is atrocious!!! When you consider that way more people are killed by cows every year, and that's in America alone. !!
Humans murder 150000 sharks every day, that's day in and day out, very soon they'll be none left in the oceans, so rest assured little man/woman, you'll be able to swim fearless in a sterilised void that we've produced ….!!!
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
If you go in a jungle with lions etc or go in a forest with bears, do you go in their world empty handed?
My dad has been spearfishing for over 20 years.. he goes to the ocean with powerheads.. yes, you are in their world..
Yes , South australia's got a bad bad reputation for shark attacks. Can you quit saying they maneaters. It's simple, really you don't wanna big, hum.Their dinner stay , the fuck out of their foodbowl.
Thank you for your reply, I have folloed this suject for Decades, First it was Global Iceing, then, global warming, Then they jumped to Climate Change it is a scam imo. I love shark Docs, and I noticed they Inserted this nonsence into Shark docs, anyway each to their own Opinion. thanks
This video serves as a reminder of the power and unpredictability of nature. It’s incredible to hear the survivors’ stories and learn about their resilience in such terrifying situations. Let’s also take a moment to respect the majesty of great white sharks and the delicate balance of our oceans. Thank you for shedding light on these remarkable experiences.
Dom väljer ju att bada! Ingen tvingar dom😂 och då väljer som ju att riskera att bli attackerade av en haj!
Climate change is so obviously real! I can’t believe there’s still people out there who think it’s a hoax!😂
I'm so confused right now
The second I heard Climate Change, I am out.
If you do not want to be Eaten, stay out of their Ocean’s!!!
