It’s heavy machinery day.
Who knew we’d get this opportunity. Is it every Man’s dream to drive huge things? Not only a man’s… Marisha’s too. This whole day started out as a mild joke when we asked Brian’s cousin if he had Giant earth moving vehicles to rent , his answer was “Of Course”.
Then we asked, “Can we drive one?”.
His answer was, again, “Of Course”.

What a fun day after all the stress we’ve hd this spring/Summer. Thank you Mark and Thank you Lee at Wagner Rents in Denver, CO. This was a day we’ll never forget.

Who are we?
We are an Adventure travel and Overland couple.

What do we do?
We travel long distances in our 4×4 Sprinter van to find remote trails and off-grid camp sites with no crowds. We choose our trails or create our own routes to find the secret spots and hidden gems that are off the beaten path.

Why do we do it?
We love the independence of it. We love the end goal of getting someplace new and undiscovered. We love the journey. It can be exciting and even scary at times not knowing what a dirt road unfolds for a van to tackle.
What we love most is traveling with our Dog Carlos; a Swiss Shepherd. He’s a goof.

What is Adventure Travel?
It’s a type of tourism involving exploration with a certain degree frisk (real or perceived) usually including physical activity, and cultural exchange, or engagement with nature. Activities like backpacking, mountain biking, diving, mountaineering, skiing/snowboarding and surfing.

What is Overlanding?
It’s a form of self-reliant vehicle based adventure travel to remote destinations, where the journey itself is the primary focus, often involving extended camping and exploration of diverse terrains.
