I’m both lucky and unlucky that my local break has the airport at one end of the bay meaning there’s massive floodlights at night and having a night surf is pretty stress free
I hear ya I use to surf little Rincon on full moon nights when there was a swell. No crowds of butt hole surfers out then.
We used to live in California and the lineup is so busy we had to paddle out in the dark and then right when it got light out tons of people were there
Night surfing is so fun. Instead of flood lights use a full moon instead, much better time.
