Kai est un waterman formidable. Excellent dans de nombreuse disciplines et c'est admirable. Cependant, parler de respect sur le spot et quelques secondes plus tard se prendre une gamelle devant un windsurfeur qui est sur l'inside et donc prioritaire, c'est assez surprenant. Dans ces conditions dangereuses, les sports respectant la nature de ce magnifique environnement ne devraient ils pas être prioritaires ? Pourquoi utiliser des jets ski qui polluent le jour ou le vent permet de windsurfer ? Aimons la nature, elle nous offre tellement !

I think he is such a perfectionist that sometimes that gets in his way…i can't believe that people still doubt his surfing ability, especially short wave surfing…to me Kai does not have to proof himself…he is a surfing legend…and this comes from someone who is not comfortable in the ocean let alone can surf…my respect
When he first turns on the winch, and he's just sitting on top of it, and Kai is in the water holding the rope, I'm thinking "don't these idiots understand physics at ALL?". Question answered. It's a "NO".

And…I actually got some chills, felt my face, my chest get warm when you described your test. SO TRUE, and life is never complete without them. And this won't be your only one, nor probably, your most important one. You were given those waves! You were even given the impression that they were there, out there, coming for you, for your test. Super, even super natural. Yeah, but life is more than surfing. Imagine that. You will be tested in many other areas of a full life – and you have embarked upon it with a wife and twins! Now…NOW you have a life to live for your family. Think carefully about how you do this. With children, things have become different. And maybe, hopefully, there are more epiphanies to come, even greater epiphanies, and perhaps the greatest of all epiphanies. Peace and grace.
